Bristol’s Ekoplekz creates his unique analogue-obsessive sound channelling Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle or Robert Rental circa 1980 through a longstanding immersion in dubstep. With a 12” on Peverelist’s Punch Drunk label, he recently came to the attention of Mordant Music, and so far this year has released a double C60 cassette package ‘Memowrekz’ to great reception and a 12” ‘Fountain Square’.
Recent activities include the recent Radiophonic Weekend at Bristol’s Cube Cinema, alongside original Radiophinic Workshop members Dick Mills and David Cain as well as several ‘Mordant Mass’ events with labelmates Shackleton and Vindicatrix.
